New Jersey After 3 will remain in operation as the Christie administration tries to secure federal funds for the New Brunswick non-profit and the educational after-school programs it sponsors around the state.

The organization had announced last week that it was closing its doors after seven years because it couldn't find private funding to replace $3 million in state funds the governor cut from the budget in July.
