3,900 New Jobs in N.J.'S Private Sector

Summary


New Jersey's economy added 3,900 private sector jobs in July, the sixth straight monthly gain, even as the unemployment rate remained high and total employment showed only a modest increase.

The state added 1,800 jobs last month, with the total dragged down by a loss of 2,100 public sector jobs, according to the monthly employment report by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
