250 Acres in Meadowlands to Be Restored

Summary


More than 250 acres of the most environmentally sensitive parts of the Meadowlands will be restored to a more natural marshland under a $6 million public/private partnership.

In turn, the Richard P. Kane Natural Area will be used as a for- profit "wetlands mitigation bank" by EarthMark Mitigation Services, a Florida-based company, state officials said Friday.
