Support, Appreciate Your Local Waitress
Two waitresses who worked for a buffet restaurant in Fairview say the boss ripped them off by paying them 40 cents an hour and by keeping part of their tips. Now, as anyone who's ever ordered eggs at a diner, steak au poivre at a fancy French place or a Reuben at a deli knows, women who make a living waiting tables are some of the hardest working people around. Anyone who would keep them in this form of involuntary servitude - low wages, partial tips - is not a gentleman.
